Mental toughness training

The psychological preparation of a horting athlete is based on the correspondence of the psychological requirements of the sport to the mental characteristics of the athlete: the greater the correspondence between them, the sooner one can expect high indicators of physical fitness from the athlete.
In the psychological preparation of a horting athlete, the following are distinguished:
basic psychological preparation;
psychological preparation for classes (training);
psychological preparation for competitions (competitive, which, in turn, is divided into pre-competition, competition and post-competition).
Psychological preparation of a horting athlete is usually divided into general and special.
General psychological preparation of a horting athlete is aimed at developing and improving the athlete's mental functions and qualities that are necessary for successful physical education and sports in general. This type of psychological preparation is also called moral-volitional preparation. This includes the development of strong-willed qualities of the personality such as:
purposefulness;
determination;
perseverance;
self-control and endurance;
initiative;
independence.
     Special psychological training of a horting athlete is aimed at developing and improving in athletes precisely those mental functions and qualities that are necessary for successful horting. These are such qualities as:
courage;
decision-making ability;
mental endurance;
heuristic abilities;
sensory-motor qualities.
     It is especially worth noting the psychological impact that horting has on an athlete. The high authority of the coach will teach him respect for his elders, based on recognition of experience, merits and advantages, and not on fear. By cultivating respect for others, horting cultivates, first of all, respect for oneself. The body of a young athlete is in the stage of development and growth. It is clear that physical exertion during classes is normalized according to age and does not exceed the permissible ones.
     In physical terms, horting will be useful for an athlete, first of all, as a set of sports exercises. Correct posture, the ability to control movements, excellent physical shape - all this horting will undoubtedly give a young man and a girl as a result of constant training sessions. But parents should not think that, having mastered the techniques of horting, your child will constantly get involved in street fights. On the contrary, the specific upbringing of young horting athletes is carried out in such a way that fights will not interest them at all. Young athletes learn to use their strength only in the process of active training to conduct sports fights with rivals. And if the situation develops so that fights cannot be avoided, then, undoubtedly, horting techniques will turn out to be a useful and very effective skill.
